Nagarjuna Devarayi is a Master's student in Data Science at Regis University, bringing a strong technical foundation from his Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) at KKR & KSR Institute of Technology and Science, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. With a passion for turning data into meaningful solutions, he is actively expanding his expertise in machine learning and AI, as demonstrated through his work on skin lesion segmentation and classification using deep learning. Beyond academics, Nagarjuna is an enthusiastic cricket,Volley ball and badminton player, and he aspires to independently develop his own application, driven by curiosity and a hands-on approach to technology.

Businesses operate within highly interconnected supply chain networks where disruptions in one sector can propagate across multiple industries. Business closures create gaps in these networks, affecting suppliers, customers, and dependent sectors throughout the economy. This project investigates business closures as indicators of supply chain disruptions in the United States. Using historical business dynamics, demographic, and economic data, the study develops deep learning models to forecast business closures and identify patterns of co-occurrence across states and sectors. The objective is to help businesses and policymakers anticipate supply chain gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
